That sounds like a beautiful niche, luxury digital detox travel is such a great idea 🌿 Wishing you the best with it, and I’m glad some of the tips can help!
That sounds amazing! A luxury digital detox archive is such a unique idea. I’m glad the tips were helpful, can’t wait to see how you bring this concept to life on Substack!
I totally agree. All the platforms, trends, notifications becomes a burden of chaos. Creativity and finding thy needs a calm, peaceful, serene mind without distraction. I feel that myself. So I started finding the Detox Escape Destinations and writing about them.
I view DDE as a forensic study of architectural weight. My documentation is grounded in the physical specs and the structural intent of the space, rather than the transient experience of a guest. I prioritize the objective authority of the materials—the basalt, the concrete, the silence—over the traditional 'visitor' narrative. To me, the building is the protagonist; I am merely its archivist.
That’s a fascinating perspective! Treating the building itself as the protagonist really elevates the work, it turns your documentation into a precise study of material and intent rather than just experience. I love the idea of being an archivist for the space itself.
Thank you for this encouragement. As a beginner in this space. It gives me hope and the confidence in connecting with others in a new way building community.
I’m really glad it gave you hope building a community is one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. You’re off to a great start, and your voice matters. Keep connecting and sharing, you’ve got this! 💪✨
Starting out can feel overwhelming, but getting clear, practical insights early makes a huge difference. You’re definitely on the right track, keep going! 💪✨
Wow, thank you. I learned so much useful guidance. Im very, very new & honestly, I dont truly understand exactly how to do thongs on Substack. For example, I seem to be following myself and have 2 pages. Im trying to post the intro & 1st episode of my newly started blog. Its a humorous (in a satirical, self-deprecating way) about finding myself mid-life, 1st coming to this realization at around 50 & reinventing myself at 55. If you would be so kind as to share your wisdom & help me fix the set-up problems, I would be immensely grateful to you. The following is the link ive shared, but it's in Notes, not posts & it's not on my original page:
Absolutely! It sounds like you’ve got a fantastic concept humorous, self-reflective, and very relatable. On Substack, **Notes** are like mini posts or quick updates, while **Posts** are your main articles for subscribers. To fix your setup:
1. **Post your intro & first episode as “Posts”**, not Notes.
2. Make sure you’re logged into your **main Substack account**, that’s where you want your blog to appear.
3. You can delete or ignore the duplicate page you’re following yourself on.
Once you move your content to Posts, it will show properly on your main page and be accessible to subscribers. I can also give you a **step-by-step guide with screenshots** to make it super clear if you want.
You’re off to an exciting start, reinventing yourself at 55 sounds like a story a lot of people will love! 🎉
Thank you for your kind words & encouragement. I am so grateful for your thoughts & the confidence you've given me to move forward with my blog is incredible.
Oh thank you so very much. I would love a Substack guide for dummies version on how to fix things. Im not only technically inept, but social media platform ignorant as well, lol.
Thank you for the insights shared here! I love how directly actionable this advice is - a lot easier to implement than some of the widely-available "publish in a specific niche" type advice that's easy to find. It's almost like just being human to other humans and sharing human thoughts is the most relatable thing we can all put out into the world!
Exactly! That’s the heart of it authentic human connection often resonates far more than trying to fit into a rigid niche. I’m so glad the advice feels actionable for you!
Thank you for sharing your tips and insight. Refreshingly direct and informative. Love growing small communities with like-minded friends, looking forward to watching you flourish.
Thank you so much! I love that approach growing small, like-minded communities is so rewarding. Excited to share the journey with fellow creators like you!
Very informative and helpful. I started a faith based podcast because I feel that the "Church" is more political than it is about really caring about people. Love and compassion are the keys to happiness. Every time you turn on the TV or radio it's all about how much we don't like xxx. I want to speak the truth and share experiences because at the core we all just want to be heard and respected
What you’re doing with your podcast sounds incredibly meaningful. Focusing on love, compassion, and genuine connection is exactly what’s needed right now. Giving people a space to be heard and respected is such a powerful way to make a real impact. Wishing you all the success as you share these truths and experiences! 🌟💛
This was a great find! Thank you for the encouragement and insights. Slow and steady. I have tried some of these things and look forward to now trying the rest.
Thank you for not only sharing your wisdom but adding encouragement throughout! You have a wonderfully persuasive and empathetic writing style, as a new poster I'll definitely take this to heart!
You're very welcome! I’m glad you found it helpful. 😊 If you enjoy these insights, be sure to check out my latest Substack articles for more tips and stories!
Very informative. I'm trying to build a luxury digital detox travel destination archive in substack. I'm hoping to apply some of your suggestions.

I really like the idea, and truly I think that offline is becoming the new luxury.

The ones you write about have you been there yourself?

Very interesting. I appreciate the difference in perspective.
Great post, Katherine ✨ Thank you for the encouragement and confirmation. I have been doing this intuitively. Consistency and authenticity ✨🙏✨🤍
Thank you so much 🤍 Love that consistency and authenticity really are the foundation. Keep going, you’re on the right path ✨

This was genuinely informative, especially as I'm just starting out myself!
I’m so glad to hear that! 😊
Starting out can feel overwhelming, but getting clear, practical insights early makes a huge difference. You’re definitely on the right track, keep going! 💪✨
Great advice and I’d love to follow it but no social media for me. My friends are illiterate. I guess I’ll have to do it that very hard way 😉
That’s totally fine 🙂 Some of the most loyal audiences come from organic discovery, not social media. Slow growth but much stronger readers 😉
Here’s hoping 🤞
Hope it works for you 🤞 Consistency really makes the difference!
